Inspiration
On Friday, January 22, 2021, I was in Las Vegas, the 14th American city I’d traveled to in the last six months, during the heart of this pandemic. From New York to California, Florida to Nevada, Texas to Illinois, I had the opportunity to talk to dozens of Americans, who shared their challenges, frustrations, and fears as they all grappled with how to survive and make it through this pandemic.
Their stories are real, emotional, powerful and inspirational. They talked about how they needed to transform and adapt while trying to keep their lives and families sane and healthy during this unpredictable year.
The Series
In Season One, “Pandemic Stories” is an eight-episode documentary television series that will bring to the screen, pandemic survival and inspirational stories from Americans who live in some of the hardest hit cities impacted by COVID-19.
This documentary lends a voice to those who have yet to be heard, so they can share how they’ve survived, are overcoming, and are ready to thrive. These stories are not about the number of cases, death, or vaccines, but about the people. their real challenges during unimaginable circumstances, and how they’ve pivoted, survived and hope to prosper and overcome in 2021.
